Liberty
Machine Shop, in Stanton California, is a division of Liberty Bell
Components, Inc. Our parent company, Liberty Components, is a
manufacturer of passive electronic components as well as a designer of
electronic circuits for more than 35 years with partner factories in
Asia. Due to our electronic business, we often have to prototype
components, PCB as well as casing, mechanical and related parts.
Therefore we started a CNC machine shop 10 years ago to support our
internal needs.
In
2008, upper management decided to open up our machine shop services to
our clients and have now expanded to the general public. We are a
full service prototyping shop able to take your idea sketched on
cocktail napkin to a CNC machined part or assembly in plastic, aluminum
and steel.
Our
CNC machine shop’s strength is not in mass production but in
prototyping and making small runs of 1 to 100 pieces. We also
offer outsource manufacturing in Asia should your volume increase to a
point where our CNC machine shop can no longer support your
volume. We can also provide plastic injection and casting
outsource manufacturing in Asia when your volume grows into the
thousands.
Our
cost is low because our CNC machine shop shares many of the overhead
with our parent company. We also do not use expensive CAD and CAM
packages that cost $10,000 per seat or more because we find it
unnecessary most of the time and these overhead costs are eventually
transferred to the client. Instead, we use inexpensive and
sometimes freeware CAD and CAM software packages as we find these
software sufficient for 90% of all jobs we have done. For the
rare occasion where a powerful CAD or CAM package is needed, we
outsource the CAD or CAM work to local freelancers or to Asia where it
is 1/3 of the cost. Please view our work in our gallery.
Our
focus is to provide you with the highest quality of prototyping and CNC
machining services you will be able to find for the best price.
Our CNC machines are not the fastest or the most expensive, but our
team is well experienced in the prototyping and CNC machining
field. We believe a well experienced designer and machinist is
more important than using the fastest and most expensive CNC machines
on the market.
Liberty
Machine Shop serves clients nationwide but we are a local CNC machine
shop and highly support our local communities in providing free
machining services to law enforcement agencies in Southern
California. In fact, in our free time we'll burn the midnight oil
to help OCSD (Orange County Sheriff's Dept) Bomb Squad and SWAT with
many of their machining needs fixing and modifying their tools and
robots to better serve our community. We believe everyone
including businesses should support their community and this is how we
pay it forward.
